Kurt Tiedt

Chartered Accountant

Kurt is a chartered accountant with two decades of experience in M&A within the UK as well as in Europe and the US. He has worked with businesses of all shapes and sizes, across a variety of sectors, most latterly in the veterinary sector acquiring smaller, independently owned practice groups. In his transaction services career he focused predominantly on advising a range of private equity clients (and their portfolio companies) on their M&A transactions working on both the buy-side and the sell-side. 


Kurt joined bizval to establish it's presence in the UK and Europe as there is a vastly underserved SME market who need to access quality valuation services.

Howard Blake

Lawyer and Serial Entrepreneur

Howard is a lawyer, but he prefers to be thought of as a serial entrepreneur. Having founded more than 20 startups and with four decades of experience on boards of companies, his largest company employs 1,800 staff and serves three continents.

Having spent fortunes on valuations from top-tier firms, Howard now believes firmly in the 80-20 principle for valuations and co-founded bizval as a result. With a strong focus on the cash flows and enjoying every business he is involved with, Howard sometimes drags himself away from his desk to drive cars on racetracks. Quickly.
